Senior Photo Outfits for High School Guys Don't Have to be Difficult!
I have a few quick tips that can make them painless:
- Be comfortable: Make sure to wear clothing that you feel comfortable in. We will be doing walking, sitting, standing, and squatting. Make sure that your clothes fit well and are comfortable! Bring a variety of options--a collared shirt and a more informal t-shirt, jeans and dress pants.
- Wear pants (not shorts): In my opinion, pants look better than shorts for your senior portraits. I know some guys live in shorts, so bring a pair along if you have to, but your photos will look more polished if you have pants on.
- Layers & Accessories: Bring a jacket or a button-up so we can get plenty of variety in your photos! I recommend a casual outfit and another, more formal outfit. Accessories like watches always look great too, and give us some options for posing! I recommend colored, solid shirts. Try to avoid overly dark colors (black/gray) and large patterns, as these can be distracting.
- Props: Have you considered bringing a prop, such as an instrument, a football, an award, or a pup? I love when seniors bring what they are passionate about.
